Nourishment

We love delicious food. I have it for lunch and in between..

I prepare the food according to the Maharishi Ayurveda concept, which is based on thousands of years of experience.

It is a holistic system that means "knowledge of life".

The basic rules can be found in almost every kitchen in the world.

I would like to encourage the children to perceive their personal taste preferences, their feeling of hunger and especially their own well-being.

Reflecting on the individual needs of your own body has the goal of inner and outer satisfaction.

Our food has the task of supplying our body with vitamins, minerals and energy.

I would like to provide the children in my care with this in the best possible way. My meals are therefore always carefully and consciously prepared from fresh, seasonal and local foods.

Because eating is so much fun, I bake cakes and cookies with the children. To our hearts' content, we can experiment with spices such as cinnamon, saffron, cardamom, rose water and many more.

In addition to breakfast and lunch, small snacks and drinks such as water, tea and homemade lemonade are available for the children.

I keep the following points in mind when it comes to our diet:

1. My dishes are cooked with love and care, freshly prepared, tasty and served warm.

2. We eat together in a quiet atmosphere.

3. After the meal we take a few minutes to talk or sing a few songs.

4. We always eat at the same time.

5. Everyone is allowed to eat at their own pace.

6. I use spices not only to make the food tasty, but also to support our digestive system.1
